About
Kat Aaron
Founder & Executive Producer
I anticipate and solve problems, tell riveting and informative stories, and lead teams from spark to idea to execution and distribution — developing, writing, and producing daily, weekly, and long-form shows across original editorial, brand partnerships, and podcast strategy. I translate complex ideas into concise, accessible language.
Most recently, I was executive producer of Off Duty, a seven-part series for The Guardian. Before that, I was Executive Producer for Development & Partnerships at Pineapple Street Studios, where I built the development team and the process for assessing and greenlighting pitches, taking shows from pitch to air.
As senior producer at Pineapple, I led the teams behind Will Be Wild, Because of Anita, My Fugitive, Pod Save America's Iowa series, and Stay Tuned with Preet, and co-executive produced and co-wrote the audio stories for The Book of HOV. Before Pineapple, I was senior producer at Note to Self and a reporter on WNYC's Data News team, and I was an Alicia Patterson Fellow.
